The game, like its predecessors, consists of a series of missions connected by one, coherent and should be marked with a „non-linear” story. The action takes place in the 80s of the twentieth century and is located in the new city of Vice City, to which Tom Vercetti (meaning the player) is sent by Sonny Forelli to do „order” with those gangs, Cuban gangsters and corrupt cops. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is another part of the extremely popular series of games about the criminal world, and literally, a kind of development of the previous part – Grand Theft Auto 3.
